This is a small video clip of one day when we were working on the 4'x8' house each team was learning to build. It was a total blast. We mixed and poured the concrete and didnt use any of that sissy "Ready-Mix" garbage. We're the real deal. It was a really cool project for everyone to learn because God is most likely going to lead us to build some families a better shelter to live under while in Swaziland.

We had to calculate our measurements and design the house ourselves (but we were given the demensions and had to calculate everything from there), then we were given a short amount of supplies (30 maximum 2'x4', one sheet of plywood, old used rusty nails, a few hammers, a hand saw, and one tape measure) and my team is so smart we had a extra 2'x4' left over.

The whole group has also been doing construction project in downtown Matomorous. Which are great ministry opportunities. One day we moved about one ton of dirt into a foundation of a house where when we next came back we poured concrete on the second floor (with was just after some of us guys got back from working out at a gym, tough stuff). We've also been helping out here and there with building a Missionary Training Institution (MTI) and thats been pretty good. Its funny because this mission trip isn't really a mission trip, its a lifestyle change. I'm not here to build some houses and hold some babies, then go home and say "oh, that was nice." Our focus is different than that, I'm here to walk as Jesus did. But whats funny is how when we live just as Jesus did, we find ourselves doing steryotypical "mission trip" things, a.k.a. building houses, and its so great to bless people with roof over they're head or a school where the students will learn to advance to kingdom, or some place where a tired person can just pick up some rest. Keep praying for whatever the Spirit puts on your heart.
